Traumatology and orthopedic surgery department with an all-day-round
traumatological station of the Kyiv city clinical hospital 7 provides
professional medical aid to Kyiv citizens. From 50 to 100 patients
appeal for help during a day. Traumatology department accounts 60 beds.
Approximatelly 2000 urgent and planned operations are carried out every
year. Among them there are:
Primary surgical procession of wounds
Operative treatment of bone fractures and soft tissues injuries
Stable-and-functional osteosynthesis and fixation with plates, screws, nails and external fixation apparatus
Arthroplasty and endoprothesis replacement of joints
Arthroscopy of knee, hip, shoulder and ankle joints
Surgical treatment of unstable joints, extremities deformations and defects
Doctors
of the department exchange their experience with foreign colleagues,
constantly instill modern world technologies and improve operative
interventions technique. Department is equipped with modern equipment.
